Honey Bean's Story
Honey Bean originally came to Good Mews in March 2021 when she transferred from a closing rescue for a better chance at adoption. This spunky girl has a permanent head tilt due to a past ear infection. She also has corneal scarring on her right eye which doesn't require any extra special care. Her signature move is jumping on your shoulders like a parrot! Honey Bean is a very social, outgoing girl that loves people. She tolerates other cats but really would prefer to be the only feline in the home. She’s not real keen on sharing her human’s shoulders and their attention. She is a great companion and will make someone very happy. She is also super adorable. After meeting Honey Bean, you can’t help but fall in love with her.

HB was adopted and after a couple years returned because of litterbox issues. She did get along with the other resident cat, but we feel since she prefers all the human’s attention, that may have caused her to avoid the litterbox. In order to set her up for success in her new home, we feel she may be best as a single.

Honey Bean is currently on Fortiflora, which is put in her wet food. This is an immune booster but once in a home, it may not be necessary.

Honey Bean is part of the Kitty Keeper program!
