Honey's Story

Meet Honey 🍯💛 — just as sweet as her name!
Born around 10/10/25, Honey is a big, beautiful girl with an even bigger heart. She’s friendly, loving, playful, and wonderfully easygoing — the kind of cat who settles right in and makes herself at home wherever she is.
Honey enjoys playtime and will happily chase toys or engage in a little fun before curling up to soak in affection. She has been around both dogs and cats with no issues at all, making her an excellent fit for a multi-pet household. She truly loves people and is happiest when she’s getting pets, cuddles, or simply spending time with her humans.
Honey would be thrilled to be adopted with her sister, Lucy, as the two share a special bond and would love to continue their journey together.
If you’re looking for a cat who offers the perfect mix of playfulness, affection, and companionship, Honey (and Lucy!) are ready to melt your heart. 🐾✨

If you are interested in adopting the first step is to go to our website and fill out an application. https://placingpawsrescue.org/applications/cat-application/

The adoption fee is $175. ($50.00 reduction in adoption fee for a pair). ADOPTION FEE: The adoption donation includes spay or neuter, microchip, age appropriate shots, deworming, flea preventative and a negative FIV/Luekemia test. ADOPTION PROCESS: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application online at www.placingpawsrescue.org. Once we review the applications, those applicants that are thought to be a good match will be contacted as quickly as possibly. We ask that you please be patient with us as we are all volunteers. Then a telephone interview will take place and references will be checked. We will then arrange for you to meet the cat or kitten. We put all of the known information in the animals description. If the animal is listed on the website, we are still accepting applications for that animal. We only remove the animal when the final adoption paperwork is signed. The best way to contact us is by email at placingpaws@yahoo.com. It is very difficult for the limited numbers of volunteers to return all calls. Thank you.
