Honey's Story

Honey is a beautiful young adult kitty with a soft gray and white coat—and a heart that just needs a little time to bloom. Naturally shy and skittish, she’s been making steady progress and is becoming more friendly every day. With patience and understanding, she continues to come out of her shell and show her sweet, quirky personality.

Though independent by nature, Honey enjoys the quiet comforts of home: a cozy bed, tasty treats (which she’ll meow for!), and gentle playtime. She loves sleeping in bed with her foster and often curls up nearby at night. While not quite a lap cat, she sometimes hops up on the couch to relax and accepts affection on her own terms. She’s still getting used to being held but is comfortable when her boundaries are respected.

Honey would thrive in a calm, cat-savvy home—ideally with another friendly feline companion. She’s incredibly social with other cats and even enjoys the company of dogs, often cuddling up with them in her foster home. During playtime, she’s full of energy and can run circles around the kittens!

If you're looking for a sweet, low-maintenance companion for your current pets—or a quiet, gentle soul to share your space—Honey could be the perfect match.

If you are interested in making Honey a part of your family please go to our website https://felinefriendsofsammamish.org to fill out an application
