Honey's Story

MEET HONEY—SWEET, GOLDEN AND JUST A LITTLE SHY!
Honey may not leap straight into your arms when you meet her—mostly because she believes all four paws should remain firmly on the ground, thank you very much. But give this beautiful 6-month-old girl time to approach you on her own terms, and she transforms into the sweetest little cuddle bug who will happily curl up in your lap for all the pets.
Honey’s favorite things include:
Chasing cat wands
Claiming the very top of the cat tree
Watching the world through the window
Politely enjoying a delicious Churu
Sitting in your lap once she knows you’re trustworthy
She’s not a fan of being picked up, but honestly—why be carried when you have four perfectly functional feet? Honey would simply prefer to come to you herself.
She does wonderfully with her kitten friends, although she hasn’t been tested with older, unfamiliar cats. She’s also curious about dogs and could likely become great friends with a calm, gentle and patient pup after a slow, proper introduction.
Her only household request? Plenty of scratching posts so she can make excellent choices and leave your furniture out of her interior-design projects.
Female, 6 months old
Spayed
Up to date on vaccines
FIV/FeLV negative
Microchipped
Wonderful with other kittens
Potentially compatible with a calm, gentle dog
Honey doesn’t need someone to rush her. She needs someone who understands that the very best kind of love is sometimes earned slowly—and once she chooses you, your lap may never be empty again.
