Holmes's Story
Meet Holmes! This handsome boy hasn’t been with us long, but he is finally safe. Before coming to the shelter, Holmes endured something no animal ever should: he was left alone in a home for ten long days with no food, no water, and no one coming back for him. He waited in that silence, hoping someone would notice he needed help.

When he arrived, we brought him straight to the vet, where he finally received the care, comfort, and kindness he had been missing for far too long. He’s estimated to be about 7 years old.

Despite everything he’s been through, Holmes is gentle and sweet. He seems to be a truly good boy who just wants love, stability, and someone who will never leave him behind again. We don’t know much about his past or whether he lived with dogs or small children so a home without dogs or kids would be best. We’re slowly introducing him to the other shelter cats to see how he feels about feline friends.

Holmes has survived heartbreak, and now he’s simply hoping for a quiet, loving home where he can finally exhale and feel safe.

Holmes has been:
neutered (previously)
up to date on vaccines
combo negative (FIV-/FeLV-)
flea treated and dewormed
microchipped

Adoption fee is $200
