Hoku-Poki (a bonded pair)

Are you ready to do the Hoku-Poki!! <br/><br/>Hoku (tabby) and Poki (panther) are bonded besties and can not be separated. These two were found together, and have grown together into amazing young men that will fill your home with lots of love and laughter!! <br/><br/>Here's a little about each one from their amazing foster:<br/><br/>Hoku means “star” in Hawaiian, and he is ready to brighten your world! This handsome gray and white tabby is as goofy as he is affectionate. Hoku is such a sweet and lovable kitty! He gets along well with the other fosters and my 4 cats. He was quick to open up once he knew he was safe. He’s always waiting at the window whenever I come home and runs to the door of the room he’s in when he hears me coming. Hoku will greet you with a few soft meows and will rub against your legs nonstop if he knows it’s food time. Hoku is SO soft that you’ll just want to pet him all day! Hoku is also Poki’s north star, guiding him through any new situation or unfamiliar place.<br/><br/>Poki is the most endearing cat I’ve ever met, and watching him slowly grow and come out of his shell has been the most rewarding thing! At first, I’d find him hiding away when he heard me coming towards the room, but now he’ll greet me at the door and come in for a big sniff. During meal times, you’ll find out that he’s a little guy with a big meow who loves to nudge and cuddle against your legs. My favorite thing about Poki is how goofy he is, from the way he meows to the way he moves. You can tell he’s an eager learner and watches his feline friends intently to try new cat things.<br/><br/>So now here's a little note from the boys themselves!<br/><br/>Aloha kakou, I'm Hoku!! What to tell you about myself...well, I am really in good shape and quite a looker. Let's see...and I'm young (3 years old), active and a real catch!! I will play shy when we first meet, but if I sense your love and patience, I promise to turn on the charm and show you my adorable, goofy self! Definitely bring treats because I LOVE TREATS!! I love to eat - period, and I love to play - the wand toy was sent from heaven, in my humble opinion. Chin rubs are a must...I really like those!! When we’re not playing (or eating), I love to people watch, so I'll either be spying on you from the couch, or watching the neighbors through the window. Don't worry - I'll report back any nonsense or hoodlums I see to you. Ohana is everything to me. Poki is Ohana and Ohana means family and family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten...in case you missed the movie!<br/><br/>Hey guys, I'm Poki and you will usually find me following my buddy, Hoku, kind of like now (smile). So I agree with Hoku - he is a good looking guy, but me too!! I'm like super handsome - I'm like a panther, which is amazing in itself. I'm a little younger than my BFF, and one day when he's 100, I'll still be younger! Right now, I'm 2.5 years old. Before now, it seemed like humans didn't think I mattered. I spent my younger years searching for love and food. Then I met Hoku and he helped me feel safe (and get food from nice ladies). One day, our lives changed and we found out we were actually really important and seen - and it's been like heaven ever since. I'm kinda a shy guy and I let Hoku do most of my talking, at first, but if he trusts you then I will learn to also. I'm learning lots of new tricks too!! Outside we didn't really get to play because most of our energy was on just trying to stay safe and alive, so I'm really getting into this toy craze. I like to practice in secret because well, like I said before, I'm a little shy...but once I know what I'm doing I am quite the toy charmer! I love looking out the window with Hoku, and I love looking out from high places like a tall cat tower. My foster mom tells me I’m like Batman (whoever that is), ever vigilant and hiding in the shadows. I sure hope you'll come to meet me and Hoku - we are your dream come true for sure!!<br/><br/>So there your have it! All of our cats are considered indoor only and will require an adoption contract that they will be forever loved and adored, kept indoors and not declawed.
