Hoep's Story

SimcoeDHumane received an emergency call, the finder had a cat that was hit by a car, injury to eye, unable to move back legs. During the call, the finder realized this kitty was in a precarious location, unable to be reached. He was not bleeding, he was breathing and he was able to move around. Plans were made for a call back when the cat came out for food.
Volunteers set up live traps with stinky food and shortly there after captured the big guy. Taken to Emergency Vet after triage to stabalize, it was apparent fluids, warmth, food and a cuddle or two was just what he needed. The eye injury was an old one and will need to be dealt with.
His vetting includes his emergency visit, fluids, neuter, FIV/Felv/Hw negative, vaccinated to date (will need a booster at owner's vet) dewormed, flea and lice treated microchipped, and he's looking forward to his new furever home 4 the holidays!
