Hodge's Story

Hodge is a handsome tuxedo boy who has overcome a lot in his short life. After an injury as a kitten, he had one of his back legs amputated, but that doesn’t slow him down! Hodge can walk, run, and climb just fine, and he still gets some impressive kitten zoomies.

Hodge is incredibly sweet with his foster mom and loves being held or simply relaxing nearby. Because he can become overstimulated when anxious, he is looking for a patient, understanding adopter who will give him the time and space he needs to feel safe. Hodge would likely do best in a child-free home, with very slow introductions to any other animals. For the right person, this special boy has so much love to give!

Included with the adoption is the kitty's neuter, all applicable birth-to-one-year FVRCP, FeLeuk and first round of rabies vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. In addition to being fully vetted, our cats and kittens are highly socialized. We even offer a getting acquainted period, so you can comfortably settle in with your new kitty! Please note, young kitties do best with another kitty in the household.

To apply to adopt, please complete an adoption inquiry at www.bluesmews.org so our adoption specialist volunteer can review it and contact you!
