It means that each adopted pet comes with more than $1,100 of "extras" AND you get to save the life of a special animal in need! How much does it cost to adopt? Adoption Fees* Puppies (Under 6 Months): starting at $225 Dogs (6 Months - 6 years): starting at $125 Senior Dogs (7 Years +): starting at $75 Kittens (Under 6 months): starting at $125 Cat (6 months - 6 Years): starting at $75 Senior Cats (7 Years +): NO adoption fee! (adoption process still applies) *Some animals may have variable adoption fees to help support their fellow shelter animals. Why do the fees vary? No life is more valuable than another, however many animals we take in are in need of extensive medical or behavioral assistance. Some animals take months, or even years to find their forever home while others are virtually guaranteed to have multiple applications within hours of arriving at our organization. To help generate the funds necessary to continue our life-saving work adoption fees are based on a number of factors including: age, breed, size, medical or behavioral issues, and length of time in the shelter.
