One who may not always seek out your attention, but you can peacefully coexist together? Consider Hibachi! Hibachi is a teenage kitten who was saved from the outdoor life, and is still learning about all the good things family life has to offer.

Hibachi spent a few weeks in a foster home, gradually working to build trust with humans while also strongly bonding with other cats. He’s still fairly skittish, preferring to seek out attention in quiet times on his own terms, but does enjoy pets when he’s lounging or eating.

He’s a morning type of cat for sure, beginning every day with the zoomies and running in all the directions! Hibachi would be a great pal to get you up and going in the morning and greet each new day alongside.

In addition to finding a patient adopter to guide him and be understanding of his shy nature, it’s also crucial for Hibachi to join a home with a confident, social cat. He’s amazing around other cats, leaning on them for comfort and confidence — and taking their lead for interacting with people. Being around sociable cats has greatly assisted Hibachi in his journey to trust people, and he’s ready to take that next step into an adoptive home.

Additional bio info: male, Domestic Long Hair, orange & white, approximately 8-9 months old, up-to-date on vaccinations, FIV/FeLV-, neutered, microchipped
