Herman's Story

Meet Herman!
Herman is a two year old male Domestic Medium Hair cat This outgoing and happy guy loves attention. He's got a great personality, is affectionate, and wants to tag along with whatever you happen to be doing!
Herman was surrendered to us due to not getting along well with his brother. His original owners ended up with Herman when Herman's mom showed up as a pregnant stray at their house. They decided to keep mom and all the babies in the end. Herman got along great with them all, except for eventually the other intact male once the two of them matured. Herman was not the aggressor specifically, but between the two feuding cats, he was the one randomly selected to start life anew. Fighting and territoriality is completely natural cat behavior that may completely resolve once Herman gets fixed, and he had exactly zero issues with any of the other cats in the household. We always recommend a meet and greet with other pets in the home prior to adoption, but here at the shelter he has met some of our other cats and did great with them.
This precious boy is playful and curious. He's a pretty laid back fella for the most part, so he would be a great fit for many types of homes. And because he is so eager to be your friend, it won't take too much effort to win him over or take him tons of time to adjust to a new environment! So if you're searching for a companion who's pretty easy and not a "project kitty," look no further than Herman!
They don't get much sweeter or better looking than he is! Best come visit soon, as we believe Herman will be snatched up quickly. Herman has had his first set of shots and is litter box trained; so he's officially up for adoption and very eager to find out what adventures await him next! Stop by or give us a call if you think Herman is meant to be yours!!!
