Herbie

Meet Herbie- the perfect conversationalist 🐾

2-year-old Herbie is a happy boy who loves to be around his people. Affectionate, playful and the cutest kitty we ever did see, Herbie is never short of a purrsonal opinion and will chat it up before venturing off for his catnip toy or feather wand. Always by your side, he's a wonderful companion and addition to your home.

Herbie has not been tested with other pets, but with his laid back and lovable personality we think he will do just fine with the right introduction. In fact, we think he would really enjoy a friend to play with! He is a good boy ready for his next chapter, and hopes that will be with you!

Herbie is now accepting adoption applications, available below. 🐾

*You can meet Herbie at PetSmart in Warwick today! Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed.

About Ten Lives:

Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat.

Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience!

All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
