Herbert's Story
*Update: Herbert was adopted but was brought back to the shelter because his owner could no longer care for him.*

Herbert is a neutered male Domestic Short-Haired Black and White Cat. Herbert came to the shelter as a stray and we do not know anything about his background. He is litter-boxed trained, and loves people, however we do not know how he is with other cats, dogs, or small children. If you're interested in meeting her/him please call (419) 294-4477 Ext. 3 from 9AM-5PM to schedule an appointment.

WCHS Adoptions are a 2-Step Process

Step 1— Visit our shelter! (Appointments Required)
The animal of your choice will be reserved for you at the time of scheduling. (Prospective adopters may be shown multiple animals, subject to availability.)

Step 2— Pick up your new pet!
Pickups are generally 3-5 business days after completing adoption paperwork at your in-person appointment. This allows HOPE Clinic time to prep your new pet for their forever home, including spay/neuter surgery (if not already fixed), a microchip, vaccines, and other care depending on the species. Once the animal is ready, we'll call you to coordinate pickup! (Pickup times are generally in the evenings.)
