Animal Protective League's Adoption Policy
We have plenty of dogs and cats just waiting to meet you!  Our adoption center is open from Noon to 5pm every day.  If you see an animal on Petfinder please feel free to call our shelter at 217-544-PETS (7387) to inquire if the animal is at the shelter or in one of our foster homes.  There is a simple application process that you will need to complete prior to approval for adoption.   Although we occasionally run adoption specials, our regular adoption fees for cats are $50 or two for $65.  Our pricing on dogs is variable.  Every animal has been spayed or neutered, microchipped, tested for heartworms or FeLV/FIV, and is current on all vaccines.  That’s over a $350 value!   Animal Protective League 1001 Taintor Road Springfield, IL  62702 We are located behind the Illinois State Fairgrounds
