Hera's Story

Independent, affectionate, vocal, and chock full of personality! The goddess Hera is known for her vengeful wrath, but this little girl is sweet as can be.

Hera is perfectly happy lounging around your house, but will come over and talk to you about her day and concerns over her food bowl being empty.

Although independent, Hera loves attention and petting- even if it does take a little bit of time watching you to see that you’re there to keep her out of harm’s way. She is not a fan of being picked up, however.

Hera is the epitome of calm and grace, preferring a solitary lifestyle most of the time but always ready to offer affection when she feels safe and comfortable. She's a low-maintenance companion who enjoys her serene surroundings, often found gazing out the window, mesmerized by birds and other critters.

Hera's shy nature is beautifully balanced by her sister, Kiera, who helps her navigate human interactions. With Kiera leading the way, Hera gradually warms up to people, showing her friendly heart! She never shows aggression and has a lovely, soothing voice that adds to her charm.

Hera may be reserved, but with a bit of patience and the comforting presence of her sister, she can become a cherished friend to anyone.

She is fully vetted and 3 years old and litter box trained.

She loves to play with feathery, bird-like toys and will chase and snatch them out of the air. She’s a born hunter! Hera would do best in a home with other cats, as they seem to give her confidence in her surroundings. If you’d like to meet this sweetheart, contact us to set up a meet and greet.

Hera needs to be an indoor cat only.

Hera's adoption fee is $40. A meet and greet with her fosters can be arranged and an application for adoption needs to be completed. The application is available under the adoptables tab at www.pawsa.org
