Henry's Story

We would like to introduce you to Henry. Are you the super amazing family that will give this boy his forever home? Henry is the kitty who has been with us the longest currently. He came into the rescues care in May of 2024. We got a call from a vets office in Mooresville, NC stating a local had found a kitten behind his tire after driving on the road! He did not know what to do to help the little guy but started making calls. This is how Henry found his way to us! Two from our team went out to where Henry was and brought him into the rescues care. His nerves were frazzled, understandably so, but he didnt have a scratch on him! We were so thankful he was not injured. It is a miracle he was safe while the vehicle was driving! Henry has been in the rescues care and hasn't found his forever home most likely due to the fact he is a shy baby and isn't a huge fan of strangers. This of course makes him anxious for adoption events, so we let him sit those out but still encourage meet and greets in his foster home. Henry is worth the wait. Once he realizes you are a safe person, he completely comes out of his shell and blossoms. He loves other cats (a lot) and loves play time. He is a little ham when it comes to treats and always tries figuring out how to get everyone elses food! He loves to watch videos for cats on the ipad his foster parents set up for him. At night, he loves to sleep in bed with his fosters. He is a real cuddle bug! We just know the right home is out there for this little man who has the patience to let him get comfortable and then be is weird and awesome self! We will of course support his transition into his new home however is best for Henry and his new family and offer foster-to-adopt trials. Henry is neutered, up to date on his vaccines, microchipped, and triple tested negative. He is ready for his family!
