HENRY's Story

Meet Henry — Your Quiet Little Companion

Henry is a handsome 4-year-old brown tabby with soulful eyes and a gentle spirit. Life has recently taken an unexpected turn for him, and his owner can no longer give him the care he deserves. Now, Henry is looking for a new place to call home — and a kind heart to help him feel safe again.

At first, Henry can be a bit shy. New environments and unfamiliar faces make him retreat into his shell, but with a little patience and a lot of love, his sweet nature begins to shine. Once he trusts you, Henry becomes a loyal and comforting companion, happiest curled up nearby or quietly keeping you company.

He’s a simple cat with simple pleasures — a cozy spot to nap, a calm home, and his favorite meals (he’s especially fond of Blue Buffalo Wilderness cat food). Henry would do best in a peaceful household where he can adjust at his own pace and truly blossom.

If you’re someone who understands that love sometimes takes time, Henry could be your perfect match. Beneath that shy exterior is a deeply affectionate cat just waiting for his second chance.

Could you be the one to give Henry the forever home he’s been hoping for? If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. My adoption fee is $50.
