Henri-etta's Story
Meet Henri-etta: A Queen Ready for Her Forever Kingdom!
When Henri-etta's previous owners vacated their apartment, they left everything behind--including her. This brave 9-year-old lady was discovered outside by kind neighbors, left in a cardboard box with nothing but a blanket to protect her. Thanks to the quick actions of kind humans, Henri-etta was soon brought to the safety of our shelter so she could find a family who will never abandon her. Despite the heartbreak of being discarded, Henri-etta's spirit remains completely unbroken. She is a fiery, vocal companion with a big personality, and she isn't afraid to tell you exactly what she's thinking or when it's time for some love. She is a one-of-a-kind presence who knows her worth and is ready to be the undisputed, center-of-the-universe queen of her next home. Henri-etta insists on being the only kitty in the home, however, she can likely coexist with a very gentle, cat-savvy dog. She would thrive best in an adults-only home or with children aged 12 and older who appreciate a cat with true spirit and character. Henri-etta is currently stable, feeling great, and managing her health like a champ but she does have a working diagnosis of Irritable Bowl Disease (IBD). This is very manageable and simply requires a consistent routine! To keep her tummy happy, she just needs a specific hydrolyzed protein diet and a daily over-the-counter B12 supplement. She also is on a low steroid dose every 3 days. She is currently thriving on this routine, but the occasional flair up may require a visit to your vet. She had a successful dental procedure in early 2026 and just needs standard yearly check-ups to monitor her smile moving forward. Henri-etta isn't just looking for a house; she is looking for a dedicated home where her vocal charms are celebrated and her loyalty is returned. After everything she has been through, she deserves a happily-ever-after! Henri-etta's adoption fee is $200.

*To visit our cats, you must make an appointment on-line at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.*

Note: While we are happy to respond to your questions about any of our cats, you will still be required to make an on-line appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt if you wish to meet our cats.
