Being adored.<br/><br/>The moment your hand reaches out, Henri melts. He’ll lean in, close his eyes, and savor every gentle touch. Head rubs, slow strokes down his back, chin scratches... he loves it all. His deep purr and soft, slow blinks are his way of saying thank you. He even enjoys being held; as long as he’s close to you and soaking up attention, he’s a happy boy. Bedtime is his favorite part of the day, when he can count on cozy cuddles with his humans in bed - with soft blankets of course!<br/><br/>Henri also has a playful side. Feather wands, string toys, and stuffed mice toys are sure to bring out his curious spirit. He enjoys exploring new environments, watching birds from the window, and happily accepting snacks and treats.<br/><br/>Most of all, Henri absolutely adores other cats. He is shy at first and needs someone who will be patient with him while he adjusts to new things. Other cats help him come out of his shell! He loves the resident kitties in his foster home and feels most confident with a feline friend nearby. For that reason, he needs to be adopted with another cat, or he will need a home with a resident cat to be a companion for him. This is important so he can continue to flourish and feel secure.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, and devoted companion, Henri may be your perfect match! He’s ready to find his forever family that will shower him with the love, comfort, and pets he deserves.<br/><br/>The first step in our adoption process is the application which can be found on our website lapcats.org.<br/><br/>All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are fully vaccinated. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped.<br/><br/>We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag! We do not do out of state adoptions for the safety of our cats.
