Hendrix's Story

Meet Hendrix!

Hendrix is a handsome, affectionate boy with a heart full of love and a second chance ahead of him. This sweet guy came to us after a kind family rescued him from life on the streets. Like many outdoor cats, Hendrix had gotten into a few scuffles and arrived with some scratches and battle scars from trying to survive.

The family hoped to keep him, but unfortunately Hendrix and their resident cats just werent a good match. Wanting the very best for him, they brought him to PAWS for Life so we could help him find the loving forever home he deserves.

Hendrix is FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) positive, but dont let that discourage you! FIV is only contagious to other cats, and it is most commonly spread through deep bite wounds from serious cat fights. People, dogs, and other animals cannot catch FIV.

Many FIV-positive cats live long, happy, healthy lives with routine veterinary care, good nutrition, and a safe indoor home. Hendrix is doing great and is ready to spend his days soaking up love instead of worrying about surviving outside.

If youre looking for a sweet companion who will reward your kindness with endless affection, Hendrix may be the perfect match. He has left his rough days behind and is ready for the happy ending hes been waiting for.

Come meet Hendrix and see why we think hes so special. He deserves a family that will love him for exactly who he is
