Hendo spent his first year of life on a tiny island in the Caribbean, where his life took a dramatic turn when he was rescued by a kind volunteer who noticed his eyes weren't completely open and worried he might be blind. After a visit to a local veterinarian, it was discovered that Hendo was born with a condition called entropion eye. Thanks to the "Paws in the Air" program, Hendo was able to travel to the USA for the surgery he needed to restore his vision. Now that his eyesight is mostly restored, Hendo's world has opened up, and he's discovered the joys of kitty life!<br/><br/>This super sweet and docile kitty adores belly rubs, head scratches, playing with wand toys and gentle affection. Being a bit shy, Hendo thrives best in a quiet home without dogs or small children, where he can feel safe and comfortable. He would love and needs the company of another calm kitty friend and enjoys the quiet pampered life lounging and looking our windows at birds and squirrels.
