Hellebore Domestic Short Hair Grand Rapids, MI

Meet Hellebore, named after an amazing black flower. Hellebore is a striking black panther who came to Second Chance from a hoarding situation with 8 other kittens, some of whom were her siblings. Hellebore was well cared for in her home but after the number of cats swelled to 25, the owner who was in failing health was no longer able to care for them.

Hellebore is a friendly kitty who likes pets, especially butt scritches. Hellebore enjoys play, especially with the wand. It's a treat to see how playful she has become. Her personality is blooming as she builds confidence. Spend a few minutes petting or playing with her and you'll experience why we think she is so special.

Hellebore may be a little on the shy side, but she is ready to blossom in a home of her own. She has made huge progress and we are so proud of our sweet Hellebore. We see time and time again, how a shy cat here at the shelter shows even more of their amazing personality when adopted into a loving, patient home. Hellebore would do great with a single adopter, a couple, or a family with older respectful kids.

We believe that kittens are happiest when they have a feline friend so Hellebore will need to be adopted with Fiona or consideration could be made for an existing, calm cat.

Hellebore has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $120. Hellebore has an approximate birthdate of 06-01-24.
