Helen's Story

Meet Helen! This sweet senior appears mostly black with the slightlest bit of rust color interspersed in her coat - classifying her as a tortie & a touch of grey in her muzzle solidifying her senior status. Helen came to us due to the death of her person. A family member made the effort to surrender the dog she'd lived with to animal control but simply left this gentle old girl alone in the house when they left the state to go back home. Because we were not in contact with the original owner we do not know the nature of the relationship between the two animals so we can't guarantee she would love a doggie companion but she definitely LOVES people! Helen's purr is so intense she almost sounds like a cooing dove when she's enjoying some good pets. Helen is microchipped, vaccinated, spayed & ready for her furever home!
