HEIDI's Story

Meet Heidi! Once upon a time, this sweet kitty was living with a very painful leg from an old fracture that led to severe arthritis. To give her the chance at a happier, pain-free life, our medical team made the decision to remove her left back leg. It was a big change, but Heidi is already proving that strength can come in the smallest, fluffiest packages.

Now Heidi is beginning her new life as a tripod cat. She’s learning how to hop, balance, and explore in her own way. It will take some time for her to rebuild her strength and fully adjust to life on three legs, but every day she’s getting a little more confident! She may only have three legs, but she has 100% of the sweetness and heart of any cat.

Heidi’s story is one of healing, courage, and lots of soft purrs. With a little patience and a peaceful home, this brave little tripod is ready to shine. FWACC Reserves The Right To Place!
