HEIDI's Story

Hello, I'm Heidi! Being independent and smart, I am content to have much alone time. I am athletic and love to be safe outdoors in good weather. Don't get me wrong, I really do like people, and love to give the best bear hug, snuggle tightly and purr loudly for a long time.

My brother Howie and I came to the shelter from nowhere one day, and we were so small and so hungry, that we walked right through the chain link fence towards the food. We were kind of banged up from being on our own for awhile, but healthy. We feel very grateful that we survived that escapade.

Now I am allowed to go outside in a protected area, and I run and play and chase things. My brother Howie has been adopted. I will easily adapt to about any home, just as long as I receive my alone time and many long bear hugs.

Thank you for learning about me, and please check out my good friends at the Country Cat Petfinder site!
