Hefty

This chunky boy is Hefty and he is the definition of a "gentle giant". He gets his name from his blocky head and dense figure - he would make an excellent lap warmer! He came in as a stray, so unfortunately we don't know much about his past. What we do know is that since the moment he came in we could tell everything was so scary to him, but he never once hissed or swatted. He leaned into pets and buried his head. He tolerated all of the cares he needed at intake. He's just a shy soul that is looking for the right person to understand him. Even now, he is free roaming in the cat colony and is gentle as can be with the other cats. He mostly just hangs out in his little hidey spot by the window. He'll come out for pets though, they are his favorite and they make him feel comforted!
