Say hello to Heckle!<br/>This handsome kitty came into our care May 2026 after his owner could no longer care for him and is hoping to find his forever home! Contrary to what his name suggests, Heckle is actually incredibly shy and doesn't initiate play with cats or humans until he feels very comfortable. He loves nap times in the sunlight streaming through the windows, catnip stuffed toys, and cuddle piles with his siblings more than anything else. Heckle will need a patient home to blossom into his true personality, but we foresee him becoming quite the cuddly guy when that happens! He enjoys tasty snacks like wet food, catnip crunchies, and lickable treats -- and truthfully, they may be the quickest way to his heart!<br/>Heckle is great with cats and would do best in a home with another cat he can snuggle with and gain confidence from. We have not seen him with dogs. He is tolerant of children if they are gentle with him but gets spooked easily, especially by loud noises.<br/><br/>Heckle is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
