Heath's Story
Hello, my name is Heath, you know like the candy bar! Well… I used to be a Heather and until my humans decided to get me fixed(THANK GOODNESS)! I thought I was going in for a spay but I came out neutered!

You see, I was the last of the feral colony that was rescued from a small town called Buena. Several other cats were living in the abandoned trailer home once our senior owners passed away. They were very nice to us, but we never received the close human contact I so desired.

Some very nice ladies came and trapped all of us (about 20) and I am the last to get adopted! I have become more laid-back and now I desperately want a home to call "my own".

I am still a bit shy, but I will come around once I get to my safe spot, I can call home. Please be patient with me… I will become your best friend!

PS I am a bit of a butterball all gray and white so maybe just give me a bit of low-calorie food so I can live long and healthy life with you.

TYIA FOR CHOOSING AND LOVING ME.

Sincerely,

Heath

Please remember that rescue cats have a past and will need someone to be patient and kind with them as they settle in to their new home. Just like humans, trust can come with time. Patience is a requirement to help these cats rebuild trust with humans, and they must remain indoors. We would be more than happy to help educate and provide advice through the rehoming process.

If you’re interested in meeting Heath, please submit an inquiry through PetFinder with questions or to schedule a time to meet, or, visit our website at uccryakima.org (http://uccryakima.org/) and click on "adoption application”,
