Shy Hazelnut loves his treats and he is working on trusting people. He is bonding with his new friend Wooloo in the colony room. (Wooloo is the more social one who accepts pets.)<br/><br/>Hazelnut is part of the feral cat colony that came to the shelter a few years ago. Some of the cats like to play with toys and others can be petted, most have a long way to go. We decided it’s time to seek out cat savvy adopters with experience raising or interacting with semi-feral cats, who would enjoy the socializing process and the rewards of rescuing these stunning felines. Since they have lived in a large cat colony, they will do best with a companion cat from their colony family.
