This beautiful lady is Hazel. She is approximately a year and a half old. She came into rescue after being abandoned and giving birth outdoors. Her kittens have moved on and now it's her turn to find her forever home! <br/><br/>Hazel has a very calm and loving demeanor. Although she can be chatty at times, she is low key and laid back. Her favorite place to be is with her human, either on a lap or snuggled up next to them. If her human isn't available, she likes to lay in windows and watch the birds and squirrels outside. She will occasionally kick around a bell ball or rattle mouse; but for the most part she is cool to just Netflix and snuggle. Her ideal home would be one without small children or a lot of chaos and noise. Life outdoors has made her scared of unpredictability, loud noises and other animals. Since arriving, she hasn't chosen to be friends with any other animals and runs from them in fear; so a home where she can be the only pet would be optimal. A single or retired couple that is looking for a companion to pass the days would be fantastic! She has no issues with using the litter box, keeps her fur soft and clean and does not scratch inappropriately. She is great with using her scratchers! <br/><br/>Hazel is healthy, spayed, current on vaccines, negative for FIV/Felv, parasite free and has received a preventative for fleas and ticks. Her adoption fee is $175.
