Meet Haylie

Meet Haylie. Haylie had a rough start in life. She found herself living outside as a kitten, and very scared. She was live trapped and brought to a rural shelter. She spent four months at this shelter and remained pretty scared and as such as unable to be placed up for adoption at this shelter.

We weren't certain how Haylie would do as she was pretty scared at the shelter. We are pleased to report she is doing great.

Haylie will be best in a quiet home. She is frightened of sudden movements and loud noises but is very affectionate and playful. She loves her cat friends as well as dog friends and will be happiest in a home with another playful friendly cat.

Haylie has been felv/fiv tested negative (twice), spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She had a pretty stubborn eye infection and unfortunately her eye needed to be removed. She does not seem to be bothered by limited vision.

Cause for Paws is a small all-volunteer Minnesota nonprofit 501 (c) (3) group whose main focus is on finding homes for stray and abandoned cats and kittens. Cause for Paws fosters these cats in our own private homes, we don't have a central facility. To find out more, please email Cause for Paws at cause4paws@hotmail.com or call us at 952-259-1483. The adoption fee is $200. Thank you.

Haylie will be ready for her new home late March.
