Hawaii's Story

Hawaii is a stunning long-haired black beauty with a quiet soul and a heart thats still learning to trust. She came to us last fall with a litter of kittens after surviving outdoors on her own, and while her babies have moved on, Hawaii is still waiting for her chance at a loving home.

Because she had very little positive human interaction early in life, Hawaii is still working on her manners with people and can be shy and unsure in new situations. Shes not quite ready to be someones lap cat yet, but every day she makes small steps forward. The quickest way to win her over? Churu and Temptations treats!

Hawaii absolutely adores other cats and takes great comfort in feline friends, so she would do best in a patient home with another friendly cat to help show her the ropes. With time, understanding, and plenty of tasty snacks, we believe this gorgeous girl will continue to blossom. Watching her learn to trust is incredibly rewarding, and she deserves a family willing to let her grow at her own pace.
