Hastings's Story

Hastings is a handsome 4-year-old domestic medium hair cat with incredibly unique markings and a very playful, kind disposition.

Hastings has settled very nicely into a pampered indoor life. He has acclimated nicely to regular feedings, play times and bed times of a typical household. He is not demanding; Hastings goes with the flow. He is playful and curious; easily engages with catnip toys, a wand, and interactive toys. Hastings would appreciate having a playmate that is of similar age/activity level but, when needed, he will happily find ways to entertain himself.

Regarding his personality, Hastings is unbothered by practically anything and anyone. He happily plays with his foster home’s golden retriever and is unphased by other cats. He also loves being loved and has the most heart-warming soft ‘mews’ for attention. That being said, he isn’t in your face about receiving said attention and will gladly nap in a cardboard box while you work from home or study.

What Hastings is looking for in a home:

- He needs to live indoors only.
- He will need time to acclimate into a new home environment.
- He has a positive history with other cats
- He has a positive history with dogs.
- He has no known history with children but Hastings is gentle and may do well with respectful children.

All Alley Cat Project’s cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Alley Cat Project adoption fees are:
$200 per cat or kitten
$350 for pair of cats or kittens
$50 for senior cat (over 8 years old)

Additional charitable donations are appreciated and support our overall rescue efforts

Thank you for your interest in adopting Hastings!
