Hash Brown

*** If you're interested in meeting Hash Brown, please see link at the end of his bio! *** <br/><br/>Hash Brown and his friend (brother? father? who knows!) Corn Dog were rescued after they were abandoned together in southwest Baltimore City. (They're pictured together in the last photo, Hash Brown is the small one.) He's your typical orange cat—very friendly and outgoing! He isn’t a lap cat, but he does like to be near you most of the day.<br/><br/>Hash Brown is currently living in a foster home with other cats and a dog. While he gets along with most cats, he can be a bit pushy/a bit of a bully, so would do best with another confident cat, and may do better with female cats than other males (although it really depends on the cat). He’s not a crazy-high-energy type, but does love to play and bat toys around. He actually seems to really LIKE dogs and want to be friends with them... he’s more interested in the dog than the other cats! While he hasn’t been around any children in his foster home, he’s quite tolerant and seems like he would do well with kids. He doesn’t mind being picked up and carried around.<br/><br/>Hash Brown is about a year old. He's now neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and microchipped. He loves to look out windows and keep tabs on the neighborhood, and especially enjoys a high perch where he can keep watch on everyone! (He loves the cat climbing wall in his foster home.) He was extremely thin when found, so as you might expect, he can be a little obsessed with food... both his and yours! You'll need to work on keeping him from trying to share your meals, but he's getting better in that regard. (But definitely don't leave your lunch unattended!) He also acts like he was probably an indoor/outdoor cat before—he likes to hang around the door hoping he can get out, but he's not too sneaky/persistent about it. <br/><br/>Hash Brown is a really great cat who seems like he would thrive in just about any home, and after the rough start he got in life, he's ready to be someone's treasured best friend!<br/><br/>He's currently in a foster home in the Pigtown neighborhood of Baltimore City, near the Ravens' stadium.
