Meet Harvest
Hi! My name is Harvest! I am too cute for words. Rescued Sept. 24th from an Oak Park neighborhood, my littermates and I were just 4 weeks old. They rescued our mama too. I was adopted as a kitten then returned to the Rescue May 17, 2012, because my new family said I'm a climber and they don't want that. It's a natural thing for kittens to do, so I don't understand why I'm homeless again. I am litterbox trained, friendly, affectionate and very playful. I purr and purr to tell you how much I love you. I enjoy being petted and having my head scratched. I'm such a sweet, loving kitty. I love people and hope someone will give me a chance. Adoption fee: $60.

Adoption Process:
Complete the application at the link above or send an email to info@pawsforliferescue.org to tell us which pet you're interested in and we'll send you a questionnaire that will help us make the best match for you and your new pet. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. This is a pending period to give your dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
