Meet Harry Potter

Harry Potter is a magical cat.  He is a brown tabby who was rescued from Chicago Care and Control after surviving there for three months in a cage.  He obviously has a very strong immune system to have stayed healthy in the shelter for so long.  In his foster home he is proving to be a wonderfully easy going cat who gets along with cats of various personalities, and also dogs.

He is really hoping to find his forever home soon.  If you need squirrels watched from your window he is very good at that.  If your cats like to play a little game of chase he is good at that too, which is nice since it's helping him to trim down from his jolly shelter weight of 18lbs.  If you have relatively mellow cat-friendly dogs he would like to meet them too.  The part about the dogs is optional, but the squirrel-watching is essential.  Oh and catnip is a very big deal for him.  He will be your humble servant forever if you give him catnip.

He knows his name, and is very good at doing "happy paws" or "making biscuits" or whatever you call that kneading motion when a cat is happy.  He has his loving pet-me moments, his sit on your lap moments, but he can go off and do his own thing too.  Since he is around 5 years old he has mastered the art of the peaceful cat nap.

Harry Potter is looking to bring his mystical ways to his forever home soon! Email  janet@janetwrightreadings.com to communicate with his foster mom.

Harry Potter is healthy, spayed, de-wormed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and virus-tested. His adoption fee of $95 benefits the rescued dogs and cats of  Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control.
