Harry's Story

Harry is one of those cats who stops you in your tracks. With his smoky black, long-haired coat and captivating eyes, he's an absolute showstopper. But Harry's beauty goes beyond his looks-this handsome guy has decided he's done with outdoor colony life and is ready to settle into the comfort of a real home.

After living outside, Harry made it clear he'd rather be indoors with people. He's choosing the cozy life, and he's looking for someone who'll give him the warmth and security he's ready for. It just takes a few things make Harry happy - Temptations treats, catnip, and lots of pets and brushing. He is on the shy side so he will do best in a quiet home with plenty of time and space to acclimate at his own pace. It may take a couple visits to the shelter while getting to know him. he lives in our quiet cat room and loves to watch out the window.

Harry is about 6 years old and did test positive for FIV. FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) is a widely misunderstood condition. Many people think that it's easily spread and cats will soon get sick. But FIV+ cats typically have a normal lifespan and can live with FIV negative cats as long as all cats are spayed or neutered, remain indoors and interact peacefully.

His adoption fee is $75 which includes:
Neg FeLV Test, Neuter, and UTD vaccines

If you're interested in adopting him, please fill out an application on our website.
