Harry's Story

Meet Harry, a 10-year-old sweetheart who will take all the pets he can get and reward you with endless love and purrs!

Harry has a tough past and a heart of gold. He was found outside by a caring community member who noticed he was getting beaten up by other outdoor cats (young, spry tomcats). Even though he had a tough time, he has been nothing but love since he was rescued. The moment you start petting him, he becomes a non-stop purr-fest, soaking up the affection he’s been waiting his whole life for.

Harry is FIV-positive, which simply means he should either be the only cat in the home or live with other FIV-positive cats. FIV sounds scary but, Harry is proof that FIV kitties can live long lives! He doesn't require any specialized care and, with a cozy indoor life, he should be happy and healthy. He’s currently in a foster home with a dog and is slowly getting used to his canine roommate—so with a proper, gradual introduction, he could likely thrive in a home with a respectful, calm dog.

If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate cat in his golden years—one who wants nothing more than to love and be loved—Harry is your guy. Please reach out if you're interested! adoption@acatsliferescue.org
