Harry's Story

Harry came inside after living outside in a small village. At first he seemed very feral, and we thought we would need to let him go back outside after sterilizing and vaccinating him. His foster parents set up a cat door and a place where he could start socializing with people. Amazingly, he turned out to be a big old love bug! It was clear that he had been someone’s pet - he was so comfortable being in the warmth and cuddling up on the sofa with his humans. We do suspect however that he might have been abused, as he was scared of hands at first.

Harry was living outside and had become the adoptive 'parent' of a then-kitten, Joey. We finally realized that Joey was the last of Sylvia's kittens (Sylvia is a kitty that has now been adopted). Joey went missing, and it appears that dear old Harry had looked after him all this time. They were always together and both came in together to be inside. If they could be adopted together, that would be wonderful, but otherwise Harry should be an only cat. We think Harry was born in 2016.
