Meet Harriet
Harriet is a well traveled little lady who spent the first 10+ years of her life with a few different owners. She was surrendered to us and has been nothing but perfect. She is very tidy, does not jump onto tables or counters, and has never had any accidents. She loves being pet but is not fond of being held yet. She loves finding areas to curl up and sleep and we think she would be a great cat for someone who is looking for a sweet and very calm kitty. She is an older lady, we know she is at least 13 years old, but she still loves to roll around with some catnip. As you can see in the photos she loves to show off her beautiful teeth, and although she is missing some front incisors, our vet was very surprised to see that the rest of her teeth look like those of a cat half her age. She may be a senior kitty but she has lots of love left to give to her forever person.
Harriet has a small umbilical hernia that we have discussed with our veterinarians and have decided that due to her age and that she has likely had it many years, they suggest not surgically repairing it. It is unlikely that it will cause her any issues in the future since it has not so far, but would be something to be aware of. She was de-clawed on her front feet by previous owners. Harriet has had a full panel of bloodwork and urinalysis done, and everything looked fantastic! Overall, our veterinarians have no medical concerns and she is ready to go to a forever home!
