Harper's Story

Harper – Male – Approximately 6 Months Old Harper is a gorgeous solid black kitten who combines playful energy with a deep love for cuddles. He can be shy at first and will need patience and limited hiding places as he adjusts, but he warms up fairly quickly and rewards that patience with endless purrs. Once comfortable, Harper is all about playtime. He loves to run, chase, and burn off energy, and he will definitely need a playmate in his forever home. After he’s had his fun, he’s happy to curl up close and enjoy quiet cuddle time. Harper does well with other cats and dogs and has not yet been introduced to children. He would thrive in a home that understands shy kittens and is willing to give him time to build confidence while enjoying his playful, affectionate nature. Harper is neutered, microchipped, FVRCP vaccinated, and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV. !!! It is the policy of Desert Paws Rescue that all potential cat adopters complete a Cat Adoption Consultation Form and an interview with a Desert Paws representative in order to be considered as a forever home for our cats and kittens. Completion of the application and interview process does not guarantee an adoption approval or guarantee the adoption of a particular cat or kitten. Desert Paws Rescue is a privately run, all-volunteer, non-profit organization and reserves the right to refuse any adoption that is not in the best interest of the cat or kitten, based on our principles, policies, and standards. Desert Paws Rescue will determine the best home for each cat or kitten based on the application and interview process. After review of the adoption consultation form and the completion of the interview with a Desert Paws representative, Desert Paws Rescue may recommend a different cat or kitten that is more suitable to your household.
