Meet Harper!<br/><br/>Harper is a beautiful 2-year-old black and tan tabby with a gentle, shy personality. She came into rescue as a kitten before eventually making her way to Sanctuary One and, while she has grown more comfortable with life here, people can still be a little scary for her.<br/><br/>When Harper is unsure, she prefers to find a safe spot in a cat tree or hide where she can watch what's going on around her. She isn't the type of kitty who will immediately come running to greet someone new, and it takes time for her to feel comfortable enough to let her guard down.<br/><br/>Around her feline friends, though, Harper does very well! She enjoys living with other cats and also loves spending time in our catio, especially when she can find an nice sunny spot to stretch out and relax.<br/><br/>Harper will need a family who understands that earning her trust won't happen overnight. She needs patience, kindness, and the freedom to approach new people and experiences at her own pace. A family willing to celebrate the little victories along the way will give her the best chance to continue building her confidence.<br/><br/>There's a brave kitty hiding underneath Harper's shy exterior, and we can't wait to see more of her as she learns that the world -- and the people in it -- can be a pretty wonderful place.
