Harlow's Story

Meet Harlow – the Walmart Greeter of Cats

At 11 years young, Harlow is the first one at the door to say hello. If cats wore name tags and handed out shopping carts, she’d be clocked in full-time. The moment you walk into the room, she’s there, ready to greet you, climb up for a cuddle, and make herself right at home in your lap.

Harlow is the definition of sweet and confident. She adores every human she meets and would happily spend her day perched on your shoulder if she could. She’s curious, surprisingly mobile for her age, and has a special love for catnip, mealtimes, and lounging up high like a proud little queen. Around the sanctuary, we lovingly call her our “little meatball.”

Since coming into our care, Harlow has done wonderfully. She’s lost some weight and had dental surgery to remove a few bad teeth, and she’s feeling so much better because of it. She’s comfortable, active, and ready for the next chapter of her life.

Harlow lives in the sanctuary with other cats and doesn’t mind dogs. She mostly ignores the other cats and does her own thing, though she’s not afraid to give a gentle bap if someone tries to steal her lap time. She’d probably love being your one and only, but she would also do just fine with other calm, low-energy senior pets who respect her space.

Her adoption fee has been generously sponsored by our donors, and she comes spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped—ready to head straight into her forever home.

One important quirk to know about our little meatball: Harlow has a strange love for plastic bags and will try to snack on them if given the chance. Her adopters will need to be total ninjas about keeping all plastic bags and similar items safely out of her reach.

If you’re looking for a friendly, affectionate companion who will greet you at the door every day and curl up with you at night, Harlow is your girl. She’s the absolute sweetest soul and ready to bring warmth, cuddles, and a little meatball-shaped joy into her forever home.
