Hill District Cats's Adoption Policy

We will look into your application and call your vet. Please call your vet and tell them they have your permission to release records to us so that we can expedite the application process. We will also call your landlord if you have one. If your application is approved, we will call you and arrange for a meet and greet with the cat. This is a meeting at the foster parents house to see the cat and interact with him/her. You can play with the cat, hold him and see if you think this will be a good fit. If you would like to adopt the cat, you can take him home.

Pittsburgh Hill District Cat mission isto provide a better life for homeless cats and to assist in the effort to limit the overpopulation of feral cats through Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR). We are a foster-based rescue and have cats available for adoption in the Pittsburgh area.
