Harley's Story

Meet Harley. Harley is estimated to be 4 years old. He has been felv/fiv tested negative (twice), vaccinated, microchipped, and of course neutered. Harley's original owners moved and left him behind. He lived in his own for a couple of years before a good samaritan trapped him and cared for him until we had a foster available to take him in. Harley is still a little edgy from living outside but is adjusting more and more every day. He doesn't have boundaries when it comes to human food. He had to survive on his own so food is still really important to him. Harley is pretty bossy with other cats so will be best as an only cat. He gets along with well mannered dogs. He will do best in a quieter home and would love a home where he can watch squirrels and birds from the safety of inside. Cause For Paws Inc.'s Adoption Policy

The adoption fee for a Cause for Paws cat is $225. There is an adoption application that is completed and reviewed prior to the adoption. This application will ask for a veterinarian reference and we will check this reference prior to an adoption. The application gives us an opportunity to learn more about the potential adopter and whether or not the cat that they are interested in would be a good match. There is also an adoption contract that is completed at the time of the adoption. Because we are an all-volunteer organization, we typically will respond to an inquiry within 24 to 48 hours.
