Meet the handsome Hans !<br/> <br/>Hans is a sweet, curious, and playful boy who will bring so much joy and energy to his new home. He’s quite the talker—often strolling around the house trilling happily to himself. Gentle and good-natured, Hans loves the company of other cats. Sometimes he loves them a little too much, playfully seeking out wrestling matches with his big brother. He gets along especially well with male cats, though he’ll occasionally try to coax his sister into a chase, too. Hans is a perfect candidate for clicker training!<br/><br/>Hans also enjoys his quiet moments. He’s perfectly content napping in a sunny window or relaxing on his own during the day. He’s a polite little gentleman—never one to steal another cat’s meal—but he’ll always finish what’s on his own plate.<br/>A very social companion, Hans greets every visitor at the door and is perfectly happy being held in your arms. Because he’s quick, curious, and always interested in what’s beyond the threshold, he’ll need extra attention around open doors. <br/>Hans is an affectionate, spirited cat who will make a wonderful addition to the right home, a home where the person has experience medicating cats.<br/>All our cats ready for adoption have received a medical examination, are neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, tested for FIV/FeLV and microchipped.<br/><br/>Hans was initially diagnosed with autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA) following his initial vaccination. While the exact cause is uncertain, the vaccine may have triggered the condition, and he cannot ever be vaccinated again. He needs ongoing medication— a daily steroid ( in liquid form). He's slowly being weaned off this medication (during the next 2 months). C’est un grand bavard : il adore se promener en trilliant joyeusement tout au long de la journée. Gentil et au grand cœur, Hans aime la compagnie des autres chats — parfois un peu trop, car il cherche souvent à organiser des séances de lutte avec son grand frère. Il s’entend particulièrement bien avec les mâles, mais il lui arrive aussi de jouer avec sa soeur. hans est un candidat parfait pour le "clicker training". <br/>Hans apprécie également ses moments de calme. Il aime faire la sieste près de la fenêtre et sait rester tranquille seul pendant la journée. C’est un petit gentleman : il ne touche jamais à la nourriture des autres, mais il ne laisse jamais une miette dans sa propre assiette.<br/>Très sociable, Hans accueille volontiers chaque visiteur et se laisse prendre avec plaisir. Comme il est rapide, curieux et attiré par ce qui se passe de l’autre côté, une attention particulière sera nécessaire près des portes ouvertes.<br/><br/>Hans est un chat affectueux, pétillant et attachant, qui fera le bonheur du foyer qui saura l’accueillir. Bien que la cause exacte soit incertaine, il est possible que le vaccin ait déclenché cette affection, et il ne pourra plus jamais être vacciné. Il suit un traitement continu : un corticoïde quotidien (sous forme liquide). La posologie de ce médicament est progressivement diminuée (au cours des deux prochains mois).
