Kid-, Dog- and Cat-Friendly!!! Handy is a loving one year old girl who is looking for a family to love her back! Handy is an easy kitty, quiet and neat. She is friendly but also independent. Handy is calm and gentle and good with kids. She doesn't like to be picked up but will quickly climb in to your lap for pets. When she sees you she flops on her back and rolls around on the ground. If you sit down she will go up on her hind legs and put her front paws on your lap to make it easier for you to pet her! She likes to gaze into your eyes and make biscuits on you. Handy has met dogs and cats and does well with a slow introduction.<br/>Handy is playing with her foster family and with foster brother Meowth. At Forgotten Cats we are committed to finding the right cat for you. Our adoption fees vary based on age, behavior, and medical conditions. Our adoption fees make caring for our forgotten cats possible. Prior to adoption, all cats at Forgotten Cats have been spay/neutered, received age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and treated with flea & tick preventative. Rabies vaccines are given to all cats over three months of age. All cats are also tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia. ADOPTION PROCESS Step 1: Browse our available cats on our website or visit one of our nine off-site adoption centers to meet our cats. Step 2: Submit an online adoption application or an adoption application in person at one of our offsite adoption centers for the cat(s) you’re interested in adopting. **It takes roughly 2-5 business days to process adoption applications. Step 3: Once approved, meet with an adoption counselor at one of our off-site adoption centers or shelters. Step 4: Head home with your new kitty. Special note: Forgotten Cats has hundreds of cats available for adoption at any given time. If you do not see a cat on our gallery that fits what you are looking for, we encourage you to submit an application for “pre-approval”. This will allow us to find the best match for you and your family.
