Hana's Story
Meet Hana – A Gentle Soul with a Playful Side

Hana is a beautiful tabby girl with white socks, a mountain-lion face, and the softest personality once she feels safe. She may be shy at first, but underneath her cautious nature is an incredibly loving cat who has made amazing progress over the past year in foster care.

Hana thrives with patience and understanding. It took her months to fully come out of her shell, and while she still prefers approaching people on her own terms, she’s become very affectionate in the spaces where she feels comfortable. One of her favorite things is leading you to the bed so she can curl up beside you, knead the blankets, purr happily, and soak up head pets. She isn’t a clingy lap cat, but she loves being near her person and sharing quiet moments together.

She has a playful, goofy side too! Hana gets zoomies around the house, especially when chasing her toy mice, and she absolutely loves interacting with foster kittens. She’ll bounce around trying to get them to chase her and enjoys having playful company. She also enjoys following her humans into the bathroom, drinking water from the sink, watching birds or movies on the TV/tablet, and lounging in sunny windowsills.

Hana can occasionally get overstimulated during petting, especially with belly rubs or too much attention around her lower back and tail area. She does give clear body language cues when she’s had enough, so she’ll do best with someone patient who understands and respects cat boundaries. Once you learn her signals, she’s easy to read and loves affection in shorter, gentle sessions.

She’s comfortable free-roaming the house and coexists well with other pets, especially calm and friendly ones. Hana would do best in a quieter home with someone willing to give her time to continue building confidence at her own pace.

If you’re looking for a cat who will slowly steal your heart with purrs, playful energy, and quiet companionship, Hana may be the perfect match for you.

View the full bio/profile and photos/videos HERE:
https://www.felineurbanrescueandrehab.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=21354346

All FURR Cats & Kittens are seen by a vet before being posted online and have been:

Spayed / Neutered to help control the pet population
Microchipped to help ensure your best friend can be brought home if lost.
Vaccinated; FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia) & Rabies (which is legally required in most states). These will need to be kept current after adoption.
Tested Negative for FIV & FELV unless otherwise noted on their profile
Treated with de-wormer, anti-parasitics, flea baths & prevention, ear mites and anything else our vet deems needed for good health. This can sometimes include antibiotics and eye/upper respiratory medicines, etc.
Many of our fosters also use pre/probiotics and vitamins to fully support their tiny immune systems during transitions.
---To meet any of our cats please fill out our adoption application to be approved.
