Ham's Story

Meet Ham -- a tender, playful, and affectionate former colony cat looking for a forever home where he can finally shine and show off his full, most confident personality.

While he spent the first 2-3 years of his life living the hard life of a street cat, not knowing how to trust humans and unfamiliar with the comforts of indoor life, Ham showed himself to be a soft, gentle, and curious boy who would do almost anything for a treat -- so we gave him a chance. A few months in a foster home have allowed Ham to open up into a sweet and playful guy who loves the company of humans and other cats. Watching him blossom has been incredibly rewarding for his fosters, but unfortunately he can't stay in the home where he's currently living. We are looking for a permanent or foster-to-adopt home where Ham can settle in and be safe, secure, and spoiled forever.

Ham is a cat you'll build a special bond with over time. Give him a chance, and before long he'll be climbing into your lap for Churu treats and zooming around the home in pursuit of a toy mouse or laser pointer.

Ham loves feline companionship but is on the timid side initially around other cats. He could do well in a home with a friendly resident cat if you are able to commit to slowly introducing the two.

Ham is 2-3 years old and is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and treated for parasites. He has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Reach out today to start your application to be the lucky family of this special guy!
