Haku's Story
Say hello to Haku! He came to TCHS with his siblings. These cats were used to living an indoor/outdoor style and are trained mousers! They will likely need extra time to adjust to change.

Haku is a very sweet boy and the last of his litter here. He has a unique element to him - he has a bobtail! It causes him no pain and he's able to live a fulfilled life with it. He loves playing with his jingle bell toys and his ball track toy. He has also enjoyed lounging and taking naps in his cat bed. Overall he is a very sweet kitty that will be a great addition to your home.

He has been around a young child and other cats and has been friendly and playful. He has not been around dogs. Slow and proper introductions to resident pets and children are always recommended when bringing a new animal home. Ask a TCHS staff for tips on how to ease the transition.

Haku should be fed measured portions of a high-quality cat food to help him maintain an appropriate weight and long-term health. Any necessary supplies or toys can be purchased from the TCHS Re-Tail Shoppe. They love wand and feather toys! Come meet them today!

*Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling 320-252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee.

**Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals.
